TÉNÉRÉ TRAGICS TRAIL MAIL:DREAMING OF BEING A TÉNÉRÉ TRAGIC
Hi Clubby: We met briefly at Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges in August 2009. I was on the overloaded white V-Strom heading up the Birdsville Track and onto the Gulf Country with a KLR and a Peg. We all made it without falling off. A few months ago I picked up a 34L Ten in need of a slight resto (see photo). Mine won't be ready in time as it is more than stuffed. Thanks for your email, Daniel. I remember you blokes all too well -- for the fact you guys were all so loaded up for your mighty tour. Great to hear you made it all the way home again safe and sound. Love the photo of your Ténéré ... surely a few hours in the workshop would have that little beauty on the road and mobile again?! We'll be thinking of you, and in the meantime, get that beast of yours ready for the Ténéré Tragics 2012 edition!
